The Inquiries tab is your lead inbox. Every form submission, WhatsApp click tracked as a lead, and Pro-channel submission (exit-intent, Trip Builder) appears here. You can search, change status, add internal notes, and export to CSV.

Step-by-step guide

Open the inbox

  1. Go to WordPress Admin → WP Travel Kit → InquiryFlow.
  2. The Inquiries tab opens by default.

Read the KPI summary

At the top of the inbox you see a 30-day summary:

  • Total inquiries — count in the last 30 days
  • This week — inquiries in the current week
  • Top trip — trip with the most inquiries
  • WhatsApp clicks — WhatsApp CTA usage

Search inquiries

  1. Use the Search inquiries field.
  2. Press Enter to search by name, email, or message text.
  3. Clear the field and press Enter to reset.

Open an inquiry

  1. Click any row in the list.
  2. The detail panel opens on the right (or below on small screens).

Detail shows:

  • Name and email
  • Date submitted
  • Linked trip card (title, thumbnail, price when WP Travel Engine is active)
  • Visitor message
  • Channel (Form, WhatsApp, Exit-intent, Trip Builder)
  • Lead type
  • Trip brief rows when submitted via Trip Builder (Pro)

Update status

Statuses represent your sales workflow:

StatusMeaning
NewJust arrived; not yet contacted
ContactedTeam has reached out
BookedConverted to a booking
ClosedNo longer pursuing
  1. In the detail panel, click the status button you want.
  2. Status saves immediately.

Add internal notes

  1. In the detail panel, scroll to Notes.
  2. Type your note in the text field.
  3. Click Add note.
  4. Notes show author name and timestamp; they are internal only — not sent to the visitor.

Export to CSV

  1. Click Export CSV above the list.
  2. Your browser downloads inquiries.csv.
  3. Export includes up to 5,000 most recent leads with columns: ID, Date, Name, Email, Trip, Channel, Type, Status.

Tips

  • Use Contacted consistently so your team knows what is still New.
  • Pro conversion tracking can set status to Booked automatically when a WP Travel Engine payment matches — Conversion tracking.
  • Export regularly for backup or CRM import if you are not using Pro CRM sync.

Common mistakes

  • Expecting to delete leads — InquiryFlow Free does not provide a delete action in the inbox. Mark as Closed or use WordPress Erase personal data for GDPR requests — Data and privacy.
  • Ignoring Channel — helps you see whether leads came from the form, WhatsApp, exit-intent, or Trip Builder.
  • Searching without pressing Enter — search runs on Enter, not on every keystroke.
