InquiryFlow installs like any WordPress plugin. After activation, it registers under the WP Travel Kit admin menu.
Step-by-step guide
Install from a ZIP file
- Go to WordPress Admin → Plugins → Add New Plugin.
- Click Upload Plugin.
- Choose the
inquiryflow.zipfile and click Install Now. - Click Activate Plugin.
Install from the plugin directory (if published)
- Go to Plugins → Add New Plugin.
- Search for InquiryFlow.
- Click Install Now, then Activate.

Confirm WP Travel Engine (recommended)
- Go to Plugins and confirm WP Travel Engine is active.
- InquiryFlow works without WPTE, but the trip context (trip title, thumbnail, price in the inbox) requires WP Travel Engine trip pages.
Find the admin menu
- In the left admin menu, open WP Travel Kit.
- Click InquiryFlow.
- You should see tabs: Inquiries and Settings.
If the menu is missing, confirm the plugin is activated and your user has manage_options capability.
First-time settings
- Open InquiryFlow → Settings.
- Walk through the Setup Guide or jump to Getting started.
Tips
- InquiryFlow bundles the shared WP Travel Kit core. If you also run TripCompare or other suite plugins, core loads once — no conflict.
- After upgrading, clear any page cache so the front-end widget script refreshes.
Common mistakes
- Activating only InquiryFlow Pro without the Free plugin — Pro requires InquiryFlow Free to be active first.
- Editing trip templates, expecting a built-in form — InquiryFlow uses a floating widget, not a theme form replacement.
Troubleshooting
| Issue | What to check |
|---|---|
| Plugin won’t activate | PHP version (7.4+), WordPress version (6.0+) |
| No WP Travel Kit menu | Plugin activation; user role |
| Button missing on trips | WP Travel Engine active; Show on trip pages enabled |
